
RISE UP PROJECT Special Order: Oatmeal Sourdough
Available for pick-up on 9/20
We’ve made a few different versions of this porridge bread over the past year and it always hits. This week we are making OATMEAL SOURDOUGH, leavened with a fresh milled whole rye and oat flour preferment and including slow-simmered oatmeal lightly sweetened with honey. The loaves are rolled in oats for a little extra texture on the crust. Just a little time in the toaster will take this bread all the way home.
These loaves will be baked as part of our ongoing Rise Up Project and 75% of the proceeds will be donated to NH Hunger Solutions, our newest charitable partner, whose mission is to end hunger and food insecurity in New Hampshire.
