Introduction to Sourdough Workshop (1/11)
Sour Joe’s Pizzeria and Conquered Bread invite you to join us for an introduction to sourdough bread baking. This workshop will be hands-on, interactive, and will cover the essential basics of crafting your own naturally leavened bread at home. Because you never know when the next pandemic will hit.
In this workshop you will learn the fundamentals of:
Maintaining your own sourdough culture
Mixing and developing your dough by hand
Fermentation
Shaping
Baking
…and maybe a bit about yourself?
Registration covers all materials and ingredients. Participants will receive to take home a dough container and bench scraper, a loaf of your own fresh baked bread, & active sourdough starter. A Sour Joe’s Pizza lunch is also included.
WHO: Anyone who hasn’t already found pickleball. Kids 13+ are welcome, but must be accompanied by an old.

Registration for this session is limited to 10 spots.
Registration is transferable but non-refundable; if you sign up and can’t make it, we would be happy to host a friend or family member in your place, just let us know who to expect.
All participants must register. Space is limited so multiple people cannot participate together under one registration.
Food allergy alert: Please note that during this activity you will come into direct contact with wheat flour and do so in a space that prepares wheat, dairy, and meat products.
